Matthias Voß, M.Sc.
Since April 2021, Matthias Voß is a doctoral candidate at the chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics at the Department Electrical Engineering of FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. He is currently working on the control of wearable devices such as lower limb prostheses and the buildup of a new gait laboratory.
Matthias Voß studied Mechatronics at TU Darmstadt and received his Bachelor’s degree in 2018. He did his Master thesis on the development of a temperature controller for a test bench and received his Master’s degree with a focus on control systems in 2020.
Research interest: human-robot interaction, adaptive and robust control systems, human-centered mechatronics, capturing of biomechanics
